Free coaching is provided even between lectures

During lectures we will focus on learning new material and reviewing material already covered. Between lectures, students' homework, voluntarily written texts and questions are answered individually by personal e-mail!

Thanks to this unique additional mentoring service you will receive on-going coaching outside the classroom, thereby maximizing precious time available for actual lessons. The individual mentoring service is offered to all students independent of class size.

Interactive style increases your learning results

Learning a foreign language is most effective in an engaging environment where students enjoy themselves. My lessons are focussed on the communicative teaching style. I base the preparation of the classes on a well established study book, but focus on the specific needs and progress of my students with self-developed exercises. These exercises cover contemporary topics, games, role-plays etc. that activate the main learning channels (speak, see, listen, touch) and therefore are most efficient. My classes become very lively and encourage interaction with other students and myself.

You will be taught by a competent teacher

I was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain where I earned my university degree. Since 1999 I have been teaching Spanish to a large number of adults and young students and have introduced them to the Hispanic culture. Furthermore I have taken several courses in adult education and didactics and I am SVEB (Swiss association for adult education) and Eurolta (European Certificate in Language Teaching to Adults) certified member.

During the last years I have been nominated by the "Instituto Cervantes" as a member of the board of examiners for the D.E.L.E. examinations held in Zürich.
